Welcome to C & L hot tub retreats
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made directly with C & L Hot Tub Retreats.
By making a booking, the person making the booking confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions and agrees to ensure that all members of their party comply with them.
1. Booking & Payment
A 20% booking deposit is required to secure your booking.
Your booking is provisional until the required deposit has been received and cleared. Once payment has been received, your booking is confirmed.
The remaining balance, together with the £100 refundable breakage deposit, is due 4 weeks before your arrival date.
If you make a booking within 4 weeks of your arrival date, the full holiday balance and £100 breakage deposit are payable at the time of booking.
Please note your payment due dates carefully, as payment reminders are not routinely issued.
2. Cancellation by the Holidaymaker
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us in writing as soon as possible.
More than 4 weeks before arrival
If you cancel more than 4 weeks before your arrival date, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
4 weeks or less before arrival
If you cancel 4 weeks or less before your arrival date, payments made towards the holiday are non-refundable.
Where a cancellation occurs within 4 weeks of arrival, we may, at our discretion, attempt to re-let the accommodation for the cancelled dates.
If we successfully re-let the dates, we may make a discretionary refund of some or all of the amount recovered, taking into account any costs or losses incurred as a result of the cancellation and re-letting.
The £100 refundable breakage deposit is separate from the holiday payment and will be dealt with in accordance with our breakage deposit terms.
We strongly recommend that guests take out suitable holiday cancellation insurance.
3. Cancellation by C & L Hot Tub Retreats
We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that your booked accommodation is available for your stay.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide the accommodation, we will endeavour to offer suitable alternative accommodation or alternative dates where possible.
If a suitable alternative cannot be provided, you will receive a full refund of monies paid for the affected booking.
Our liability is limited to monies paid to us for the affected booking, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
4. Minimum Booking Age
The person making the booking must be 18 years of age or over.
The lead booker is responsible for all members of their party and for ensuring that everyone complies with these Terms & Conditions and the rules of The Grange Leisure Park.
Bookings made by anyone under the age of 18 may be cancelled.
5. Number of Guests
The number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the maximum occupancy advertised for that property.
Only guests included on the booking are permitted to stay at the accommodation.
Additional or undeclared guests are not permitted and may result in the booking being terminated without refund.
The booking may not be sub-let, transferred or assigned to another person.
6. Pets
Pets are only permitted where specifically advertised or agreed with us in advance.
Where pets are permitted, they must be house trained and the number and type of pet must not exceed what was agreed at the time of booking.
Pets must not be left unattended in the accommodation and must not be allowed on beds or furniture.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pet and for any additional cleaning required.
7. Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside our accommodation.
Any additional cleaning, deodorising or other reasonable costs resulting from smoking or vaping inside the property may be charged to the holidaymaker.
8. Parties & Events
Our accommodation is provided for holiday and leisure purposes.
Parties, events or gatherings involving people who are not included on the booking are not permitted without our prior written agreement.
Guests must be considerate of neighbouring properties, other holidaymakers and residents and must comply with any applicable noise restrictions.
9. Arrival & Departure
Your accommodation will be available from the stated check-in time on your arrival date.
The property must be vacated by the stated check-out time on your departure date.
Late departure without prior agreement may result in an additional charge.
Information regarding keys and access will be provided once full payment has been received.
10. Hot Tub Rules
Where your accommodation includes a private hot tub, guests must follow all safety and hygiene instructions provided.
For everyone’s safety:
* No glassware is permitted in or immediately around the hot tub.
* Guests should shower before entering the hot tub.
* Oils, bubble bath, shampoo, bath products or other substances must not be added to the water.
* Food and drinks must not be taken into the hot tub.
* Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
* The hot tub must not be used by anyone whose judgement may be impaired by alcohol, medication or another substance.
* Guests must not tamper with or attempt to repair the hot tub or its equipment.
* Any faults or concerns must be reported to us as soon as possible.
Failure to follow the hot tub rules may result in charges for additional cleaning, maintenance or damage.
11. The Grange Leisure Park Rules
Our properties are located at The Grange Leisure Park, and all guests must comply with the park’s rules and regulations during their stay.
The park operator may have its own rules relating to noise, vehicles, pets, facilities, entertainment and other matters. These rules may be updated by the park operator from time to time.
Facilities and services operated by The Grange Leisure Park or other third parties may occasionally be unavailable or subject to change. We cannot accept responsibility for temporary closures, changes or restrictions that are outside our reasonable control.
12. Property Description
We take every reasonable care to ensure that our property descriptions, photographs and advertised facilities are accurate and up to date.
From time to time, furnishings, décor, equipment or facilities may change due to replacement, maintenance or circumstances outside our control.
Minor changes which do not materially affect the nature of the accommodation will not normally constitute grounds for a refund.
13. Damage & Breakages
Guests are expected to treat the accommodation, fixtures, fittings and contents with care.
Any damage or breakages should be reported to us as soon as possible and, where practical, before departure.
Minor accidental breakages and reasonable wear and tear will not normally be charged for.
We reserve the right to make a reasonable charge for significant damage, deliberate damage, missing items, misuse of the property or excessive cleaning.
Where the cost exceeds the £100 breakage deposit, the holidaymaker remains responsible for the additional amount.
14. Refundable Breakage Deposit
A £100 refundable breakage deposit is payable in addition to the holiday balance.
Subject to any appropriate deductions for damage, breakages, missing items, excessive cleaning or other costs arising from a breach of these Terms & Conditions, the breakage deposit will be returned after your stay.
15. Cleaning
Guests are expected to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition.
Additional reasonable cleaning charges may be made where the accommodation is left requiring substantially more cleaning than would normally be expected following a holiday stay.
16. Complaints
We want you to have a fantastic stay with us. If something isn’t right, please let us know as soon as possible during your stay.
This gives us the opportunity to investigate the issue and, where possible, put things right while you are still at the property.
We will make every reasonable effort to resolve problems as quickly as possible.
If an issue is not reported to us during your stay, we may be unable to properly investigate or remedy it and this may affect any subsequent claim.
17. Personal Belongings & Liability
Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings, vehicles and possessions during their stay.
We cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings or vehicles, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, particularly when using the hot tub or other facilities.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Behaviour & Termination of Stay
Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards the property, neighbouring properties, other holidaymakers, park residents and staff.
We reserve the right to terminate a stay where a guest or member of their party engages in serious or unreasonable behaviour, causes significant disturbance, deliberately damages property, exceeds the agreed occupancy or seriously breaches these Terms & Conditions or the rules of The Grange Leisure Park.
Where a stay is terminated due to a serious breach, no refund will normally be provided, subject to applicable law.
19. Agreement
By making a booking with C & L Hot Tub Retreats, the holidaymaker confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions and agrees to ensure that all members of their party comply with them.
